Foothill Elementary opened in September of 1956 and has educated generations of students. The school continues to hold a special place in the Saratoga community with a veteran staff of caring teachers and a warm and welcoming family community.

Foothill Elementary proudly serves as one of four schools in the Saratoga Union School District, where natural beauty meets academic excellence for transitional kindergarten through eighth graders.

On the last day of class at Foothill Elementary School in Saratoga, students took their teachers and parents out of this world with a neon galaxy display in the school's makerspace.

The Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) III Community Advisory Committee (CAC) is a group of parents and educators interested in helping children who have special educational needs. Our CAC represents eleven school districts in Santa Clara County. They meet once a month during the school year and work with school district staff and administration to promote our children’s needs and educate parents in our districts.
