Foothill Elementary opened in September of 1956 and has educated generations of students. The school continues to hold a special place in the Saratoga community with a veteran staff of caring teachers and a warm and welcoming family community.

Schools in the Saratoga Union School District received some major improvements over the summer ahead of the start of the 2026-27 school year on Aug. 13. The projects were part of the district's five-year facilities plan, which is estimated to cost $1.5 million.
